Polarn O. Pyret shall always be ethically justifiable. The primary aim of our quality department is to drive and develop issues relating to product quality, safety, the environment, and social responsibility, known collectively as CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

Polarn O. Pyret offers our customers “smart clothes for all weather”. Smart, quality children’s wear does not only mean a selection of quality materials, fit and detail, but also taking responsibility for the production process by creating positive working conditions. We care about how people and the environment are affected by our business. We perform ongoing quality assurance, safety, and chemical testing on all our products.

Before placing an order, our suppliers must understand and accept Polarn O. Pyret’s Quality Assurance Manual and Code of Conduct. Our customers must always feel secure and satisfied when purchasing and using a Polarn O. Pyret garment.

Because social responsibility is a priority for Polarn O. Pyret, the company has been a member of BSCI, the Business Social Compliance Initiative, since 2005. BSCI is an independent, non-profit European initiative within the area of social responsibility. Our code of conduct helps us ensure that our suppliers offer their employees a safe and secure working environment. The code of conduct regulates environmental requirements and standards for waste management as well as chemical and other hazardous materials management and disposal.
